THE WORKS ARE COMPLETED IN STAGES:
Liability survey involves advising utility clients whether or not the reported problems are their liability or the landowners. One of our experienced team will survey the land and reported problem areas using the latest GPS technology which will record the location of the current drainage plan.
As per all phases of work this phase includes a site inspection report, Record of Condition (ROC) and CAD Drawing.
Land Drainage investigations by excavator are completed to fully establish liability and to assist the production of a remedial drainage design if required.
Risk assessment and Method statement and Pre-Construction Information are included as well as the Investigation report/drawing and costings for the installation of remedial land drainage.
Installation works AUS liaise with the landowner to arrange timings of the installation and complete a full ROC during pre-entry, during and post works.

Ditching & Outfalls
Ditching: fundamental to efficient and effective drainage schemes
Clear and regularly maintained ditches are one of the key components of an efficient and properly operating drainage design.
It is vital that land drainage is done correctly to ensure stable soil structure, minimise run off and retain vital nutrients in the soil for plant growth and yield. It is then imperative to have a ditch maintenance program in place as this is too important to be left. The majority of the water that flows through any drainage system will eventually end up in a ditch via the outfall and therefore it is vitally important all ditches and outfalls are maintained to a good standard allowing the water to flow freely through the outfalls and along the ditches. If ditches and outfalls are not maintained this will have a deteriorating effect within your fields and the ground water will build up and start to waterlog your fields.
AUS has carried out the creation of new ditches for Augean around their sites who are a nationwide waste treatment and disposal company. We also carryout a wide range of ditch maintenance programs for other clients both farmers and utility clients.
